Thanks to its well thought-out design policy, CERAVER is able to offer replacement femoral heads for all CERAVER femoral stems implanted since 1977. > For all CERAVER cementless stems (as CERAFIT Multicone and RMIS) and for OSTEAL cemented stems implanted after 1993, , you only need to order CERAVER stainless steel heads for cone 12/14 from the current catalog. This heads are avaible in the following dimensions:

• Diameter 22.2 mm: neck lengths -3,5 ; 0 ; +3,5
• Diameter 28 mm: neck lengths -3,5 ; 0 ; +3,5 ; +8 ; +12
• Diameter 32 mm: neck lengths -4 ; 0 ; +4 ; +8 ; +12

Heads with 22.2 mm diameter and extra-long necks (+8 ; +12) have a metal skirt. > For OSTEAL cemented implanted before 1994, you must send us the following information:

• Patient initials and age
• The prosthesis currently in place implantation date
• Revision surgery scheduled date

Then, CERAVER will be able to send you CERAVER stainless steel heads for 14/16 cone which no longer have the CE marking but have an ANSM exemption. This heads are available in the following dimensions:

• Diameter 28 mm: neck length 0 ; +7 ; +12
• Diameter 32 mm: neck length -5 ; 0 ; +5 ; +8 ; +12

Extra-long necks (+8 ; +12) have a metal skirt.

Desired stainless steel femoral heads are delivered with a head change instrumentation for revision surgery – See Nomenclatures. This instrumentation requires users’ vigilance because it includes all the test heads, both for 12/14 and 14/16 cone fitting.

HiFit and Hermes revision total knee prosthesis ranges are fully compatible due to the identical design of the femorotibial component (distal and posterior femoral compartments ; tibial insert surface). So that, a HiFit femoral component can be associated with a Hermes revision tibial baseplate, as a HiFit tibial baseplate can be associated with a Hermes revision femoral component. This compatibility of this two ranges is particularly interesting for the management of unipolar revision, knee arthroplasties on large deformities, or even unicompartmental prostheses totalisation.

CERAVER long-tip cement syringe is composed of a silicone-lubricated polypropylene funnel, a polypropylene plunger and a silicone seal. It is cleaned and packaged in a polyethylene bag preserving its integrity.

Therefore, no washing before autoclaving, in order to preserve the lubricant.
